Tristarr Hortitech is a 100% E.O.U based in Tirunelveli district, Tamilnadu and has been established since 1995. The company is engaged in the manufacture and export of finished and packed potpourri, dried flower wreath, dried flowers, dried floral arrangements, dried floral arrangements, dried casuarina pods, laminated decorative balls, dried bouquets, deco bowl fillers, reed diffusers and incense. Tristarr Hortitech has built capacity over the years, and is a well recognised globally as a reliable and quality conscious producer of these various products. The markets catered to are primarily Europe and North America.
Promoter Background:
The promoters of this venture are from an Industrial background, and hail from a well known and established group, i.e The India Cements. The other businesses which are part of the group activities are limestone mining for cement manufacture, manufacture of cem and water based wall finishes and coatings, agricultural activities etc.

ManagementTristarr Hortitech is Managed since Inception by Ms. Priya Shankar, assisted by a professional team headed by General Manager Mr. B AyyalRaj. The company has a decentralised system of operation with separate departments to Sales, Product Development, Production, Personnel, Finance, Effluent Treatment, Quality Control and Merchandising each looked after by a qualified Head of Department. The Company bases all it’s production related activities at Thirunelveli, while all Merchandising is done from Chennai. Tristarr Hortitech currently dispatches between 25-30 containers of finished potpourri and dried flowers decorations during the non peak months, and over 35 containers in the months from May through September. All products are 100% made on site, to maintain efficiency and quality.

Our FacilitiesWith the objective to take the fragrance of fresh full blossomed flowers and glow of natural ingredients to clients we have set up a state-of-the-art infrastructural facility. Our manufacturing plant spread across a sprawling area of 3 acres which enabled us to develop essential amenities in our production unit. Our well equipped unit enhances the production process to meet the growing demands of our clients.

Backed by our facilities we are able to increase the production capacity to 25 x 40 container volume per month. We are further developing our production unit through regular upgradation and checking of our facilities. |
Infrastructure and ManpowerThe company employs over 350 workers all mostly women, from nearby areas. 75000 sq. feet of non asbestos area is dedicated for final production alone which cater to international norms. Apart from facilities on site, 50,000 square feet of warehousing space is rented to carry out day to day operations. The company fulfils all conditions as laid down by Indian Factory act, with workers trained in Fire Safety etc.

Future PlansThe Company plans to participate in international fairs from the year 2009 and increase it’s global presence thru participation in forthcoming fairs at Frankfurt, Milan, Paris and Dallas. This will bring more direct clients to the company. The company will invest further in packaging and product design to gain a greater share and participation in the global chunk of the business.
Also on the cards is to commence operations into manufacture of incense and Ceramic ware. The Strength of the company is its trained workforce to manufacture fully finished product and many prestigious accounts do business with Tristarr Hortitech – mostly chain stores , high end and low end retailers The company has an OEM facility to manufacture customer friendly products. The company has been technically and socially qualified by SGC / IGS for TESCOS consistently since 2006.
